Our Wagga-based cohort produced a fabulous trivia night on February 28.
The event was full of laughs, engaging activities, and attracted a range of both Rotary and non-Rotary folk from around the Riverina. It was a great opportunity to meet some new people and show them what Rotary is all about while raising funds for Australian Rotary Health's mental health programs. There are some photos below, and
a more complete album is available on our Facebook page.
The board has agreed to donate $2500 to Australian Rotary Health as proceeds from the event.
Rotary is built on the idea of service above self, and as we move through the year, I am continually inspired by the ways our members embody this principle. Despite the distances between members, our club proves that service knows no boundaries. Through our online connections, we come together with a shared purpose, supporting each other and making a meaningful impact in our local communities.
It’s incredible to see the many ways our members are driving change—whether it’s mentoring young leaders, organising local projects, or lending a hand where it’s needed most. Each contribution, big or small, strengthens the fabric of Rotary, our club, and the communities we serve.
Let’s keep that spirit alive, staying connected and committed to making a difference, no matter where we are in the world.
