Rotary Youth Leadership Dinner January 24

President Jenny Lovekin had the pleasure of attending the dinner with our RYLA recipents Jack McCartan and Shauna Lamotte.

RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is an intensive leadership experience organised by the District where people aged 18-28 develop skills as leaders while having fun and making connections.

The 2024 RYLA was held January 6-12 in Murrumbateman.

With presentations, workshops and exercises, attendees were introduced to concepts of effective leadership including:

Leadership Theory,
Communication,
Resilience,
Mental Health,
Values & Ethics,
Leadership in Service & Community,
Youth Leadership,
Goal Setting/Visioning,
Conflict Resolution & Mindfulness

Learning and Development Seminars - Mark Your Calendar

District 9705 is holding combined Presidents-Elect Training Seminars (PETS) and club Learning and Development sessions in Batemans Bay on March 8-10 and in Cootamundra on March 22-24. All club members, and especially board members, are encouraged to attend.

6. Sally Lean to share something close to her heart Chinese New Year being the 10 February 2024.
